Snow antiskid tire have many different aspect with general tire, such as pattern in tire and producing material. According to appearance of tire, snow antiskid tire have asymmetric directional tread pattern, on the other hand, snow antiskid tire have more groove, the proportion of groove on the tire surface, if the proportion more higher, so the drainage performance will be better. There have at least 1000 small grooves on the snow antiskid tire, but general tire just have 200 grooves, by this comparison, snow antiskid tire is more fitter for winter to use.

According to producing material of tire, the snow antiskid  tires is softer than general tires, snow antiskid tire use some of special recipe on the tread, it can make more force of friction than general tire,  thus increasing the car’s controllability and security on the smooth ice. Under the low temperature environment, snow antiskid tire can still keep softly material, but general tire will following the temperature lowering to harden, thus reduce non-slip performance.
